There are 3 types of release ready
1) It works well, is efficient, passes rigorous QA and is ready for production
2) It works and you're proud enough of your implementation to offer to share it with other coders
3) Other coders have expressed interest in using your code and thus it must be rewritten from the ground up to be ABSOLUTELY PERFECT
