So instead I'm going to talk about warthogs. The warthog is a member of Suidae, the same family as domestic pigs. They are native to sub-Saharan Africa and live in grasslands and forests. Subspecies include the Nolan, Eritrean, Central African, and Southern warthogs.
The typical warthog is between three and five feet long, standing roughly two to three feet at the shoulder.

Warthogs have four tusks; the lower pair is sharpened by rubbing against the upper pair when the warthog moves its jaws. Warthogs use their tusks for digging, self-defense, and combat with other warthogs.
The warthog is omnivorous. Its diet consists primarily of grasses, roots, & berries. During the dry season, they subsist on bulbs & rhizomes. In times of frustration, the domestic Martian tiger (P. tigris demisapiens) is known to ramble about warthogs in lieu of dealing with problems
