@Oneironott That's cool, hun, but I'm taking the vent opportunity if that's okay:

It's just too proximal to Gamergate culture. Even the "good" parts that are opposed to it still don't seem to be able to just exist separate to it.

Every time I go looking at speedrun/streaming culture, I get stung, just like every other time I try to let gaming be social or cultural activity for me.

It's like never looking at the comments on Youtube, except the comments are always scrolling by on the right side of the screen and they're always putrescent. :|

@Oneironott Basically I followed up on protomagicalgirl, read the first Reddit thread that came up about her (DON'T!) and went from zero to angrysad within a paragraph. :( Not your fault, sweetie. *hug*
