Hey, viewers at home!

Your silly old tiger aunt went and made a batch of posole with a vegetable broth she hadn't tried before.

And it reeks of mushrooms.

And your Aunt Rezy is very iffy on mushrooms ever since... certain neurological misadventures in her glory days.

Any advice for reducing that flavor? It's already full of salsa verde, and I'm hoping the hominy will absorb some of it, but I'm hoping one of you food wizards know some kind of trick for removing that nasty metallic... fungusness. Thanks!

@mmsword I think we've already got garlic saturation, chief. ;D But I think that gives me some ideas for where to proceed from here.
