@anthracite Admittedly, after what, 2+ yrs now of Parallax design, we are both getting kinda Advanced at the plot-guessing stuff... Still, yeah, the color palette was generally too drab for me, the characters didn't really reach me, and it just felt like a lot of the "you like CONTENT, right?" fanbaity stuff that turned me off of FF1-∞. Granted, I only saw the tiny amount that you played, but you've run through so many games that were love at first sight for me...
