Currently really digging the whole centipede-shaped-many-armed esthetic. Not that I ever really stopped, but it feels especially strong now. Give me dozens of limbs on an awkwardly long body. I don't care if there are problems with it being practical; that's part of the appeal.
(Just, as usual for me, keep the hands and feet at least close to humanoid. That's also a big part of it.)

@dodec Heh. Eh-heh-heh. Ever read the Callahan's Crosstime Saloon books?

HINT: Just take a day and figure out EXACTLY how to walk with so many limbs and PRACTICE until you know precisely how you do it... Otherwise, anybody who's read those books can crash you faster than a self-driving Tesla. >:D

@zebratron2084 Oh, I'm a step ahead there. Knowing different gait patterns and how to move around without running limbs into each other is part of basic training, and if anyone asks it just takes a little mental math to figure out what comes before what. 5 segments apart at ¼ cycle per segment plus the 180 degree shift between sides = this right leg goes before that left one.

@dodec OK, you are *definitely* not falling prey to the Caterpillar's Dilemma, then. Just had to make sure! Cripes, even tigers don't put that much effort into making sure we look graceful when we walk. :D
