Not sure what's the most fun part of running a muck idle-purge: seeing a roster of people have slipped out of your life, having to send polite notes to people you're not talking to, or spending six days getting delivery-bounce notices from people whose school or free e-mails lapsed like eight years ago and they forgot.
@Austin_Dern Given I turfed about 50 MB of music by an estranged mutual acquaintance off my archive drives today, and cried for about ten minutes in the aftermath... yeah. Yeah, I feel ya, cousin. *hug*

@zebratron2084 I'm fortunate that my most deepest hurting comes from a single muck, and its logs all fit in one folder that I don't have to deal with except occasionally to look at how long it's been since anything new was added to that folder. And that feels good.

The idle-purge, that's turning into more of a parade of 'Gosh, I had fun with this person in 2011, why did that have to stop?'
