Ever run into a recipe that's such a bad idea, and so easy once you know it, that you feel it's not "made" so much as "weaponized?"

Yeah. Turns out Kenji Lopez-Alt's 3-ingredient macaroni and cheese works like a charm. A fatty, deadly, artery-clogging charm.

This is not really all that surprising. Kenji is the Lupin III of foodcrime. He never fails.

(FTR, I used fontina cheese—beautiful salty stuff— and threw in some spinach, garlic powder, and red pepper. But I think you could use damn near anything. For next time I'm thinking kimchi, gochujang, ground peanuts, and anchovies. I know, I know, that tiger's not right.)
