I love this idea: fund no-deal Brexit with bonds pegged to the success of the post-Brexit economy. You support Brexit? You think everyone who doesn't is deluded? Put your money where your mouth is. It's the free market, after all. You'll make a killing, surely, off the scurrilous Stayers.
I want to see this in the USA, too. Let's sell Trump "futures." We can pay them back in 2024 with all that, um, winning or something.

I don't think anybody is supporting Brexit for economic benefits anymore. Even if you believe that there are some, it's quite clear that the UK goverment is not competent to deliver them. And if somebody had walked back their support, saying "Brexit could be a boon, but with these idiots it will be a disaster that will help nobody," I could have respected that.
These days, Brexit support is all about "it's worth going on wartime-style rationing if we can kick all the furriners out".
