Peg and I had our first borderline-argument in ages, triggered by last-day-of-stomach-bug grump and mounting frustration at all the things I gave up to join her in NOLA.

It was so... civil. And productive. It was damn near the best argument I've ever had, and it really showed how far we've both come in the last 14+(!) years. Lots of give and take. She's one of the few partners—or housemates—I've ever had who would let me come out of an argument feeling *less* guilty than when it started.

This situation is far from ideal for me, and maybe Peg and I aren't the *most* emotionally compatible people who have ever paired off. But I have to admit, this is still a pretty good deal.

In summary: emotionally phlegmatic lizard ladies, 4.9/5. Definitely recommended.
