mh (-), hypochondria, mortality
Been having heart flutters all day long and been unusually tired. I strongly suspect it's nothing major, probably my vagus nerve doing something funky because my allergies have been bad all day.
But cardiac issues have been a big anxiety trigger for me, ever since my dad's 2nd heart attack took him out when I was age 12. So I'm a little fretful. Just... if I keel over, it's been fun and I wish you all joyful lives, okay?
(I'm probably not gonna keel over. :) )

Super sympathies on this front.
Nearly lost my father a few years ago to heart issues, and he's living with a pacemaker now. And in the last year, I've been having inexplicable, extremely concerning heart 'episodes' myself. Every doc who looks at it shrugs and says "You're fine, shut up and get out of my office". So, ya'know, I understand that fear, and I can promise you you don't deserve to carry it and have it weigh you down.
Sorry you're having to deal with that. Sending all the hugs and comfort I can, and wishing you the best.

@zebratron2084 I sincerely doubt we would be rid of you that easily, anyways. ;)

@Balina I do have kind of a hedge-bet with myself— that the pure *irony* of me being a lifelong hypochondriac is gonna make me outlive you all. :>
And even if that's not true... heh... ever seen Videodrome? There are so many bad RP logs of mine out there that even a primitive AI could simulate me. I could Brian O'Blivion this shit for decades. >:D

@Balina It also raises a FASCINATING question. The men in my family have a tendency to die young. The women in my family tend to linger on well past 90.
So it's like, OK, DIVINE MOTHERFUCKERS, HIT ME. WHICH ONE AM I REALLY.

@zebratron2084 Got a real cat in a box situation there, huh.

@Balina 🙀

(Also, if it's any further consolation, this has been happening to me since I was 15. :) It's just unusually bad this week. And it's reminding me that I'm getting FUCKIN OLD and can only have so much time left...)
