birdsite, kook aesthetics, Serious Important Human People, smirky
A guy called me an imbecile on Twitter. This guy is apparently a noted and respected economist. It was a one-word tweet in reply to me questioning whether a guy who's been on TV with Ron Paul can really be called "non-political."
The same guy is responsible for the diagram below. It is probably deeply profound if you have drunk the financier kool-aid, but I'm still giggling over it. It looks just like the webpage of every frantic webkook who's ever tried to persuade me I'm an idiot for not believing Space Reptiles control the US government.
(I know space reptiles and they've all got better things to do.)
FAT TONYISM?!?

@KitRedgrave I like how it doesnt so much convey any specific ideas, so much as convey knowing a lot of other people have had ideas, and how impressed you should be.
There is a nonzero chance this guys ideas are also valuable, but (a) this chart does nothing to establish that and (b) all the years i spent as a transcriptionist for the boston financial sector do NOTHING to persuade me that a compleye crackpot couldnt establish a very strong reputation in that world.
