OK, listen. It looks like Trump is at least paying lip service to the idea of cutting us all a support check. I'm skeptical as all hell, but hey, maybe someone's persuaded him we'll see it as a loyalty bribe.

But Peg and I are actually fine. I just got a large raise AND hours boost. I worked from home anyhow. If we do actually get anything from the government, it'll just be gravy.

So I'm making the commitment now: barring some serious force majeure wrecking my finances, I'm gonna pay anything I get forward. There are people who are gonna need it much more than we are. Hold me to it, please.

Although when this all clears, if you'd like to pay me back in, say, hospitality and weed from Seattle folk when I finally get to visit, I wouldn't be averse. ^___^
