Cool, what's the writing say? The theme seems to me to be old-school graphic arts prepress.
@Cerulean Oh, I have no idea. I just liked the colors. I spent about 2 hours trying to identify it from a kanji and hiragana lookup but the problem is it's actually very difficult to do that because it's in a more pop-art character style and most dictionaries are bad with those.
@hystericempress Hey, sis, could you get me a closer snapshot of as many of those characters as possible? I'm pretty good with a kanji/hanzi dictionary. I think I've identified a few of those as Simplified Chinese? I've already tracked down six characters, am not unwilling to make an evening of it but I need a higher-res look. Thanks!
@zebratron2084 oh, thank you so much!
@hystericempress I'm pretty sure 吃 = "eat" and 从纽约 = "from New York."
The best I can do with the string under the 吃 character looks like 城到?的??的城市. Not much luck translating the fragments, but I think it's something about cities? I'd really need a much closer look at the unreadable characters.
