So apparently some idiot right-winger (who happened to be a furry) made a post about how they saw a trend between people with furry avatars showing their teeth, and those same accounts showing left-leaning politics and ideals. I mean, never mind about the correlation, because this individual started the hashtag "socialistteeth".

This resulted in, not only the predictable joy of furries leaning into the tag, but an *immense* confusion of MAGA-bots, who boosted that hashtag hard enough that /it started to trend/.

The resulting confusion intermixed with mildly horny furry interaction has been a collision of words and pysops gone wrong that I just can't look away from.

@Phorm This is the first time I've been genuinely sad I left Birdsite, because if it's THAT easy to prank these goddamn bots... :D
