Your opinion on another person in your presence wearing a touch of cologne?

@frameacloud I mean, it's fine and I like some perfumes, but it's also a touchy point for me because my mom is VIOLENTLY allergic to some cheap perfumes and colognes and has nearly died at events where she's had to sit next to someone who just splashed it on. So it can be a mild plus, but it's REALLY got to just be a touch.

Oh no, that's severe! D: Smelling fancy isn't worth the possibility of hurting somebody that badly!

I like some fragrances, but I've been wondering if cologne is mostly just one of those gross personal habits of the olden days, along with cigarettes.

@frameacloud Nah, I think a hint of it, as the gods intended, is charming! Let's put it this way: I'd trust *your* judgement with it, because you already have the damn sense to be asking these questions. :)

You know, now that you mention it, cologne *is* a little old fashioned, but I think it's potentially the "genuinely charming and stylish affectation" kind of old-fashioned, like still having a watch.
