Yay, today's "spaghetti models" are showing Hurricane Laura is fairly likely to fizzle, at least by NOLA standards. And Marco was already kind of a non-starter.
Or according to one model, maybe Laura hits Texas instead. And I'm kinda fine with that too TBH, though I'd prefer it not hit anybody at all, and I really hope they don't get the Cat 4 the HMNI model is predicting.
Either way maybe I can stop worrying about the friggin' cats and how to get them through a storm, for another week or two...

Oops, I miscalculated because I misread the hours axis of the forecast chart. There's still a distinct chance that we're gonna get as high as a Cat 3.

@zebratron2084 OK, well, first, good luck. Second, mild-panic productively. Got your emergency travel bags in good shape with a couple days' clothes, medicines, and some comfortable but durable foods? This is a good time to spend an hour counting out underwear.
