The continuing misadventures with my brain, Virus (~-)
Oh yeah, smell is well intact at the moment. No fever, SpO2 levels at 97-98%, so things are okayish by every metric I can measure. I'm fine, honestly.
But my brain will. not. shut. up.
(Also, thank you <3 I appreciate that suggestion. Ran to the pantry to huff some bay leaves to be certain, and that worked a treat)

@Phorm @anthracite I really wonder if you and I aren't the same OCDish neurotype or haven't at least got some similar brainmeat damage, 'cause that "understand logically things are fine and have turned out so many many times in the past, but can't shut off the alarms" thing sounds SO FAMILIAR to me. *hug*
re: The continuing misadventures with my brain, Virus (~-)
*Hugs back* I think there's probably a common thread there, somehow.
As a bonus, I'm writing everything down these days, per your documentation suggestions! It is helping me, slowly <3 So hopefully I CAN learn!

@Phorm @anthracite Oh, I'm so glad! I was thinking of mentioning that strategy again but don't like to get evangelistic or naggy about it! It's just been such a huge help for me to have the EVIDENCE of likely okayness right in front of me...

@Phorm Oh yeah, they're also so good for IBS/food symptoms. I really wanna give you a lot of reassurance re: that, 'cause mine was nearly debilitating when I was like 20-25 yrs old and these days it's just a minor nuisance. Watching my dairy intake and avoiding FODMAP vegetables seems to do a lot of the trick for me, though these days it's improve to the point where I can get away with *some* of almost anything

@zebratron2084
That is extremely heartening to hear, because I miss gluten-filled foods so dang much ;.; Hopefully someday I can eat a proper pizza again.
