Quick gaming note:
If you're into Slay The Spire or other deckbuilders, Monster Train has provided me a hell of a lot of entertainment for my money so far and has a surprisingly deep, if fiddly, combat and upgrade system. Very highly recommended, and not just because it's so conducive to throwing the horns and screaming "MONSTAAAAH TRAAAAAAAAIN!" in your best hair-metal falsetto.
@Cerulean This sounds right up my alley though, thank you!

Basic Spire-likes just don't attract me, but there's this Dicey-like on Kongregate called Poker Quest that's sucked me in a few times. It's a bog-standard joyless fantasy theme, but I like the items that take pairs and flushes and so on. Unfortunately playing it on the web steadily leaks RAM and playing long enough to get beyond the second boss makes it crash. I've thought of downloading the PC version to see if it is more stable, but that would mean I would play it more, and I really shouldn't.
