Unpopular game opinion:
I don't like the forced and pressed-for-time relationship bond mechanics in sim games.
I would love farming and crafting kinds of sim games like StardewValley a TON more if there wasn't an immediately pressing timer as soon as you begin that if you don't follow these very specific timelines and locations, you'll fail at your relationships.
... I mean... I'd be perfectly happy to just be friends with the townsfolks and maybe... MAYBE... a relationship after like months or years of building up interactions instead of needing to plan out my life's romance path after arriving in town a week ago.

The thing is that I really REALLY like the farming and terrain arrangeing and mining and stuff...
... but the treating relationships like a chore completely unnerves me...
