yikes (but we're fine and so is everyone else probably), medical emergency (not ours), mortality adjacent, neighbors

Today the amount of time I thought I was looking directly at a deceased human was non-zero.

Yeah.

We saw someone passed out on the sidewalk on our way home from the cafe. Their eyes were wide open and we couldn't see them breathe at first.

We called 911 and a few neighbors were gathered around to keep an eye out. By the time the ambulance got there, he was talking and moving a little, so we're greatly relieved.

Best of luck, guy who probably at #306. Poor dude had a pair of glasses and a smart phone nearby, and a jacket tucked under his head, so he probably knew something was going wrong.

@zebratron2084

Glad to hear he was alive, but I do not covet the hangover he will likely be living through.
