At work, my shift is basically 7 folks, myself included.
3 of the individuals are maga nuts, or which 2 are VERY pro gun and often carry because Wisconsin is an open carry state. The guns are in their cars, but still, simple access.
The toolboxes have punisher blue stripe decals and weapon pin-up calendars, because I don't know what else to call them. Folks have their phones and they bluetooth them to speakers, and play whatever... I do the same, but to ear cup headsets so I get the hearing protection and n audio muffling of whatever I listen to... gaming podcasts or music...
Today was just a lot of audio clips and right-wing talk radio from their speakers, and I tried to drown out the noise, but...
... I'm just... bloody tired...
@JulieSqveakaroo I'm getting flashback to my office job at a conservative construction company in Medford, MA and... ouch, it'd be a nightmare to be stuck with those people during this. (It was bad enough enduring all their Islamophobic e-mail spam during the Gulf War >___< ) I am so sorry you're stuck in the middle of it. *hug*
