"Pseudonym" is a weird word for what it is. All names are made up, so there isn't really such a thing as a false name. Not even for Brontosaurus.

@frameacloud That's a very modern perspective, though. There's a *lot* of social and religious baggage around the application of birth names.

(OTOH, the term pseudonym only dates back to the 19th century, which would tend to weaken my argument...)
