Rereading episode summaries of the end of '30 Rock' and remembering I liked the show so much but also oh, there's probably stuff I would regret if I revisited it, except I like the idea that Kenneth the Page was friends with Fred Allen.

@Austin_Dern I just can not sympathize in the faintest with Jack after the Trump Era.

And honestly, I'm so disappointed at Tina Fey's cheap racial potshots, especially since I can now RECOGNIZE one of her damn shows in an instant from them. *sigh*

But yeah, it still had a lot of charm, and I do miss Kenneth (even though he will always be around). I still find myself singing the "Problem Solvers" song whenever I feel like I'm about to bollocks something up real bad but gotta do it anyhow. :>

@zebratron2084 Oh, the show's so lucky it got out before it would have had to deal with the Trump Era. Jack was guillotine-ready every episode but as long as he was tied to the people out of office there was some pleasantly-cynical-wryness to it.

Tina Fey's racial stuff is such a betrayal though. Like, I remember the show doing this great punchy bit about how complicated Amos & Andy is to talk about and I'm afraid to look at what's literally in it.
