New headcanon: my Mad Raccoon, Kirschi, cheerfully does business with the Korps but refers to them as "pinkeyes" or having "caught The Conjunctivitis" behind their backs and has quietly sabotaged a few friends' RCGs (and maybe replaced some of the 'ware with their own-- nobody said they were a saint).
[This is a purely in-character sentiment. Kirschi is a procyonid and let's face it thus kind of a jerk, so this is totally appropriate behavior for them. :) ]

I guess if any of the above has any RL connotations, it's just that I'm not much of a "joiner" in general. I have a long, long history of seeing a Big Uniform Social Group like that and needing to be very noisily right on the margins of it-- playing off of it but also the fact I'm NOT a real part of it.
(e.g. I took great pride in the fact my college pagan association considered me the "harbinger of Eris" because rituals I was invited to had a habit of going distastrously right and annoying the piss out of the uptight Gardnerian who ran them.)
What can I say. I'm a cat. Show me a fence and I'll try to sit on it and yowl. And no boot has ever hit me.
