This is an all hands on deck situation. Please boost. If you know ANYONE in New Orleans area who might help, please let us know. If you have ANY practical advice (beyond "get a ladder," see twitter, it's too high & not safe) let us know.
Current Plan A: build a ramp out of lumber. Needs to be >20-30'. Advice VERY welcome.
Is the goal of the ramp for her to get to the ground, to get her to the roof so she can get down, herself, to bridge the gap between the roofs, or for y'all to climb up there?
Also, alternate option: ladder on those front steps, strapped to the two metal pillars, with multiple ratchet packing straps over several heights, on either side of the steps for support to get you up to the rain gutter level.
... or are those too flimsy to be used as bracings?

Is the adjacent driveway stable enough for a ladder to be placed/can one be made stable by putting down say a 3' x 3' wood base beneath the ladder?
Cause then the ramp would just need to go from the window to the ladder where kitty can be grabbed.
Also-also... the basket on a pole that y'all made... is it stable enough for you to put some food and water in there, and set it up there for her to have access to, in the meanwhile?
@JulieSqveakaroo nnnnope :) but see latest, we HAVE ACCESS to her, just can't get her down! she HAS FOOD AND WATER NOW <3 <3 <3 so there is lots of hope -- we're gonna knock off for the day and hit up Home Depot tomorrow in force, probably check on her tonight and make sure she's still intact and stocked up

how heavy is the cat? what about getting a strip of carpet, tieing it to a rope, anchoring it to a near by tree and then using a pole to move it close to the cat so the cat can walk down? (like cat rope bridge)
