No spoilers but the Poker Face series is EXCELLENT and I can not think offhand of a single thing the premiere did not do right.

@JoyfulSkunk Seriously? What were people complaining about? All I've heard so far is "I just don't like Natasha Lyonne," which... I can accept but not even begin to comprehend. :)
Far as I could tell, people felt it was uneven, because it's an episodic drama and not a six hour movie in ten parts.
And like, I get it but I *like* episodic dramas. They're unique to television!
@JoyfulSkunk Oh lordy, that's what I was afraid of. Premium TV really broke people. Are they mad because it's not in the Knives Out Cinematic Universe, too?🤨
I can KINDA get it, though, if only on the basis that the pilot was going in SUCH AN INTERESTING direction in its own right and then they kind break it for necessary plot reasons, but I could have really stood like another 90 minutes of it before The Thing Happens.
