Types of unreliable narrator:

The naive: The narrator is telling the truth from their perspective, but because of their youth, or inexperience or the fact that they are literally an animal, they have trouble puzzling together an accurate picture.

The yarnspinner: The narrator is lying for self-serving reasons, usually to make themselves look better.

The goofball narrator: the narrator isn't taking the story they are telling very seriously. They might be self-aggrandizing, but in a less self-serving way and they'll usually tell the truth but from a very opinionated perspective.

The delirious: The narrator is affected by some condition that loosens their grasp on reality. Their narrative is affected by hallucinations or disjointed thoughts.

The privileged: This isn't one I usually see people talking about, but recently I've seen it proposed as an additional type and it makes sense. The privileged narrator mistakenly assumes the other characters have the same opportunities in life as them and it affects how they approach their narrative.

The difference between "the yarnspinner" and "the goofball narrator" is basically the difference between Baron Munchausen and Deadpool.
