Bradbury’s “The Veldt” except the lions in the wall-screens are dripping with IAP. It’s still written entirely in the voice of a folksy midwestern white dude from 1950 who has barely heard the word “computer” in his entire life, much less “video game” or “v-bucks”.

Instead of the parents mysteriously vanishing after the kids lock them in the Video Game Room, there's a long pause, and then the door opens to show the parents surrounded by completely tricked-out lions. "I got good news and bad news for you," says Mom. "We got you some *wicked* drip for these lions." Dad nods. "But we blew your college fund on it. Sorry. Have fun, I guess."
