re: US Pol (---)
@Phorm At least please wait and see if we get a Free City of New Orleans or something out of this. <3 Also, don't forget the rather high odds that the GOP will be stuck pulling a full Weekend At Bernie's with that demonic fuckball. <3
I am definitely not taking any major actions based on my socio-existential woes until at least January. My inner Eristic Sage notes that the potential for both destructive and creative chaos is at record-setting levels right now-- especially with their candidate/messiah decaying FAST.
re: US Pol (---)
At this point I believe that chaos is pretty much the only way out of disaster. But I also know that, for whatever reason, the evil folk have a stranglehold on chaos and use it to their advantage only.
If perception crafts reality, then only those with strong conviction in their imagined facts steer the course of the universe. And these fuckers don't even know they're lying.
If this asshole survived COVID at its height, he'll make it past November. And what's more, they'll animate his corpse for four years after, or his VP will be a scourge after his death.
We're cooked.

Let's not despair just yet.
- Obama also lost his first reelection debate - badly.
- Empirically, debates don't have any mesurable effect on elections.
- There's still a *bunch* of stuff that can happen between now and then. H*ck, it sounds *more* likely now than 24 hours ago.
- ...maybe *now* someone will figure out that putting forward candidates that are older than the jet engine is a problem? If we survive this, that is.
Big hugs everyone. *We* care for us.
Get as much sleep as you can, alright?
