and I immediately said something relatively benign and then got anxious so maybe I need to take that nap indeed

ok barring other concerns I'd take a nap to 2, but then that's when the baseball game starts, then I have therapy at 3 and then once that finishes I may have to help my old roommate with something
and it'll be late in the evening and I will most certainly be like "eh I can take off now" and I need self care
so now is the time to do day job if I want any progress, but I have to fight myself to even focus on it because I'm tired and it's boring
I guess I'll see how a nap until 1:30 goes
it's also frustrating because I did for sure get some rest this weekend but I basically didn't do much besides that and I'm a little grumpy

trying the heating mode on the AC
the heating mode is working very well, though isn't really cozy warm, just normal warm (I could obviously increase the temperature)
already covers the room far better than the baseboard heater the landlord installed
watched this video, and while I do think it's a bit rosy about the edge lord culture of the 90s and early aughts, I do think it hits on how what was more nascent then curdled into the alt-right
as someone who regretfully came up through that culture and began to distance herself first because she realized how bad 4chan was and then how SA was unable to really address the root of why it gave birth to 4chan, the alt-right seeds were already sprouting
that said, I do very much think that Eminem did indeed bring a degree of class consciousness that did help avoid white kids seeing their anger best represented by the establishment rebellion cosplay of people like Charlie Kirk, and that has been rejected now
that being, said I feel like we should not be rosy about either online leftism or queerness itself being able to meet any class consciousness they may spark with true consciousness of anti-racism
but additionally, we should look at still existing subcultures like furry and acknowledge continuing failures of intersectionality within it, as well as attempts to drive them towards more consumption based fandom rather than self-definition
and in these cases don't mistake my critique of these groups for complete disdain but pleas towards those who I think _can_ do better but have to be willing to be uncomfortable to do so
unlike 4chan and SA, I feel much more pleased with my experiences within these other communities and think they are overall good trends
I do want to celebrate and protect what I find good in the world, but that must not be at the cost of recognizing areas for improvement

ya girl wanted to get spiritual, so she pulled up a candle to update her bujo journal, and do a long over-due monthly reading, but the energy from the kitchen was strong so I went to clean it
did the dishes, wiped the counters and swept the floor
I found an unlucky dime with a threatening aura but I told it to go back to money
I lost my cleaning rag for a bit trying to find a rag that I could use for bleach cleaner, even after I blessed it
but it's significantly better in the kitchen, nya!
@chimerror I think "but I told it to go back to money" is gonna be a very strong contender for my Quote of the Year. 😻
