Okay, so a month or two back, @anthracite and I were talking about words, and I bitched about the fact that "polyamory" was half Greek- and half Latin- derived, as if that somehow made it legitimate. Peg made a case that there was nothing wrong with that, and I kind of blew her off.
Tonight I ran across https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hybrid_word and realized such words are VERY common and clearly valid.
I hope you can all forgive me, especially my longsuffering partner. ;) <3
