I could really use a new game to keep the panicky overanalytical parts of my brain occupied.
In particular, a random reference to character classes and races made me realize I'm in the mood for something with a COMPLICATED-ASS character system... and preferably, as little other game as possible.
I mean, I want something a half-step up from a GURPS spreadsheet. XD Preferably turn-based and compatible with being run in the background. But any rec for stat-wank gaming is welcome 😺

@001zlnv Yeah, it's been ages-- cripes, would they even still run without massive fiddling-- but that's pretty close to spot-on.
I suppose it's time to forgive the Fallout series for "making" me shoot Dogmeat for being a stealth liability in Fallout 2, since I hear he's (RIGHTLY) immortal now.
*salutes and cries a little* ;>

@001zlnv (I'd attempt 3/4/New Vegas, but I watched Peg play plenty of them, and... there's something about Bethesda games that just don't work for me.)

@zebratron2084 that's fine. of the 3 New Vegas is the only one that really feels like fallout 1/2.
I do so love the Rene Auberjonois voice work for Mr. House, and the Mad scientists of Big MT

@zebratron2084
have you tried fallout 1 or 2?
fairly stat heavy and turn based, but ooooooold
