There should be laws in EVERY SINGLE STATE preventing this from happening. NOBODY should be buried under their deadname in clothing they did not wear after they /committed suicide/ because of transphobia.

I had a talk with the funeral director earlier today and I couldn’t do a fucking thing because the laws in California don’t support it, even though Natalie had legally changed her name and I had fucking records of her very clearly preferring Natalie over her deadname.
