Pondering making a private account on here too for NSFW stuff. Except most clients don't support multiple accounts easily.
Mainly because, while the content warning thing is good, and the followers-only thing, anyone can still follow me to see the followers-only toots. I'm a little nervous of that, even though I don't know many would abuse it, or even know the toot was there until following me. Hmm.
@emanate Can attempt what I'm attempting here, a locked account where you set things to followers-only, then approve followers as they request it.
On Android side I'm liking Subway Tooter for multi-account; beta Twidere supports too but I apparently gave up before unlocking its full potential; and web is as easy as keeping two tabs open.
@Mycroft @emanate I can't personally vouch for its multi-account stuff, but I can certainly vouch for Subway Tooter being quite a bit better than Tusky for raw functionality. (It keeps track of where you left off reading and doesn't auto-scroll when new toots show up!) It's not as pretty to start with, but you can costumise each column's colours individually, which experience tells me can help immensely for multi-account.
