@Fuego There's something special, some _je ne sais quoi_ to be found in the look of retro game systems on CRTs of any sort.
Also, it's delightful that modern emulation gets to use the frankly disgusting amount of computing power to be had in GPU-based pixel shaders to bring that look back. Scanlines, NTSC colour bleed, spherical distortion, halation, signal noise, even non-standard refresh rates... every artefact of crappy analogue displays reproduced on crystal-clear LCDs.
