so I saw things earlier on here about how someone named Epstein had passed away and that people seemed to think that was a good thing but I have no idea who that actually is
the name was _all over_ the tabloids at the checkout at the grocery store just now so now i'm curious

The big fiasco is that now that he's gone, many of that afore mentioned evidence and statements of implications are now trying to be nullified by those very wealthy folks.

Short version: he was a man who for decades has been a central figure in underage sex trafficking and facilitating, primarily for the very wealthy. Recently he was sent to prison, and in the process of turning in statements and evidence that would implicate MANY very wealthy folks, including Trump.
He was murdered in jail (or rather died in jail while under watch with unusual circumstances that is being debated)
