there are some games where you can just tell they ran out of music budget partway through

like super mario 64 or symphony of the night

@Felthry I would've assumed that SM64 had an unlimited budget, being the system seller and all

@noiob I don't know! they certainly dropped the ball on the music at the end though

might have been deadlines rather than budget

@noiob release titles have very tight deadlines after all (I think sm64 was a release title for the n64 right?)

@Felthry yup, it was basically the only one too so it had to be ready

@Felthry yup, it was that and Pilotwings 64 (and a Shogi game in the JP region), that must've been a very stressful launch, knowing that your game could make or break the system's success
