the SNES had a really distinctive color scheme, didn't it?

...and then it occurred to us that it's the same as Mewtwo's color scheme

yeah, SNES was 1990, Pokemon Red/Blue was 1996

@packbat oh, we know the game came out after the snes, just don't know if it referenced it in-game or not

i guess it wouldn't make much sense to reference the last-gen console though

@packbat apparently Copycat gets an SNES in the remakes still, even though you just get an NES

still it's not an NTSC thing because Japan uses NTSC too and their version was colorful

@Felthry The PAL and Japanese consoles both are the colourful type. :P
