@Felthry I wish this were multiple choice! Plain or cheese, myself.

@Felthry hm, I guess I'm in the wrong region of Germany for pretzels, we basically only have Laugenbrezeln (lye pretzels with salt) here

@noiob well that's what you get, then you dip them in stuff!
-F

@noiob Huh! pretzels with cheese or mustard are really common here
-F

@Felthry they're soft, idk what hard pretzels are, are they like pretzel sticks?

@noiob yeah, like pretzel sticks

over here at least you can get hard pretzels that are just, pretzels baked to be kinda like chips
-F

@noiob only not quite chips, they're thicker than that

dry texture though, not in a bad way
-F

@Felthry I just translated that and I think the translation answered my question

@Felthry well, if they're called pretzel sticks they're probably like pretzels

we have these, yeah, they're a popular snack, but they're originally from the US according to Wikipedia

@Felthry yeah I think people eat them with sweet mustard in the south

@noiob we kinda want to have a proper German pretzel sometime
-F

@Felthry One of the skills I am glad to acquired is the mechanical process of throwing pretzels from when I was between engineering jobs, while working at a pretzel shack in the mall.
Though, our pretzels were the worst in the mall; you only ate our pretzels if you wanted to punish your body, or if the line was too long at Auntie Anne's.

@Felthry if it's a low-quality pretel, yellow mustard. High-quality: deli mustard.

@terrana huh, really? That's kind of surprising actually.
