why did video tape have a different color to it than cassette tape? was it a different formulation?

@Felthry sadly I can't find any info on specifically what kind of iron oxide VHS used
@Felthry there's multiple types of casette tape, iron oxide, those are obvs pretty red, chromium dioxide and "Metal" (ferrichrome), with different signal/noise ratios and colors
