@Felthry It seems not. "Tactile" comes from Latin "tangere", meaning "to touch", while "tactic(s)" comes from Greek "taktike/taktikos", meaning "ordered or arranged thing".
@lorxus both ultimately come from PIE *tag-, though, but other than that they're largely unrelated
apparently integer also comes from *tag-

@lorxus incidentally, i would be surprised if "tag" as in the children's game doesn't also ultimately come from that, given the connection to touching
