i don't know what to do here
every time i try to set boundaries they get upset at us and every time we try to help they just clearly don't want to be helped and i don't know what to do
how do you help someone who's refusing to be helped

@Felthry
re: social -, subpost
@Felthry you can't help everyone. we do what we can, and leave the rest to someone else who can help.
re: social -, subpost
@Oneironott i just
don't know if they're ever going to get help
and they really need it, even if they don't think they do

@Felthry Getting upset when you try to set boundaries is a huuuuuuuuge red flag. Not wanting to recognize that they need help is another.
You're putting yourselves in a lot of danger by insisting on trying to help.
re: social -, subpost
@Felthry like other people are saying, the fact that someone needs help doesn't mean you can help them
if they refuse to be helped, you might be able to make it known to them that they can get help from you, but you can't help them
and if they refuse to be helped and get angry at your setting boundaries, then you can't help them /twice/: you can't help them because they don't want your help and you can't help them because they aren't safe for you to be around
you matter too
you deserve better than this
