weird multi anatomy stuff? and personal preferences
i think i really do like the three legged shape where the middle leg naturally rests slightly forward of the other two, honestly
it's a little hard to describe it right... kinda like a pelvis with a 120°~150° angle or so to it, pretty shallow, probably slightly hinged
it just makes sense i think

@Felthry fwiw the three-legged pics of you i've seen do look to me like the middle one is a bit further forward?
re: weird multi anatomy stuff? and personal preferences
@g yeah! some of them do have that detail, but some of them don't

re: weird multi anatomy stuff? and personal preferences
@Felthry Might help if you described the anatomy as similar to a tripod setup?
re: weird multi anatomy stuff? and personal preferences
@Kilroy It's not, though. That makes you think more like a 60° angle with all three legs radially outward, which it isn't

@Felthry ...our brain saw this description and immediately went, "oh, like a water molecule!"
apparently that's what it settled on as its reference for three things in a wide arc...

re: weird multi anatomy stuff? and personal preferences
@packbat That's not a bad arrangement though!

re: weird multi anatomy stuff? and personal preferences
the problem is that it's hard to get that kind of detail across to people and so a lot of my commissions have me with all three in a straight row
