@Felthry well, for starters we don't have key limes
@noiob yeah and that feels weird to us! because they've been in the produce section of every grocery store we've ever been to
of course I understand that they don't grow them over there and there's not enough demand to import lots of them but it still feels weird on some instinctual level because we're so used to them being just a thing you can buy at any old grocery store

@Felthry huh, Adam Ragusea (Youtube) says Key Limes aren't widely available even in the US, so his recipe uses Persian Limes
@noiob huh... i know we've seen a lot of things sold as key limes at least. they might not be true key limes

@noiob probably. come to think of it, i don't know if we've seen them since moving here to the northwest, maybe they're just common in the south

@noiob key limes have a really thin rind as citrus goes, so that makes sense
