@KinkyTurtle was it a good pilaf?

food and seasoning
@KinkyTurtle fortunately, you can add a little more salt after the fact without too much trouble! it might just not be very well dissolved, which would mess up the texture a bit. Use big flaky salt though and you can say you intended it to be that way! Or you could saltify it with a splash of soy sauce perhaps! Not sure how that would go, but it might taste good.
spices are hard to add afterward though, at least the powdered kinds. Fresh ground black pepper can usually be added, or some dried (or fresh!) herbs. The flavors you have in there would probably go well with sage, thyme, or maybe some rosemary? Basil is also usually a safe bet for most things.
Maybe stir through some chopped garlic, though you'd probably want to saute it instead of using raw garlic, raw would probably be too intense.

I actually added powdered garlic. I was thinking maybe it could use a bit of cardamom.
@Felthry
Yes! Though I think it could have used some more spices. And maybe a little salt.
Hmm, the rest is probably cool enough to put in the fridge now. I should go do that.
