@pup_hime The sad reality is that the tech was waaay before its time. Until we get a paradigm shift in the infrastructure of the internet, the distance, and ISP oligopoly will always be a hindering factor to its success.

There's also the issue of SaaS, which is extremely corrosive to consumer rights.

As it stands, at best, you can do with the tech problem-free is in-home streaming.

@FreyaManibrandr @pup_hime Even in-home streaming of games might just not have a market for it, considering the failure of the steam link (the only other thing we know of that attempted to do that--and we have one, so we have at least one data point that it works well and isn't super buggy or anything)--though there are video streaming things that are pretty popular, so who can say
