@Fuego One of the things that made yesterday rough for me (and a bit of today, too) is that my insurance provider insists I try yet another depression medication – I guess five times might be the magic number? – before they'll pay for a treatment that might work for longer than two months.
It's not just that they're willing to destroy people's lives for the bottom line. It's that they do things that way even when they'd save money by being less bastardly.

It's like Comcast customer support: If it's awful enough, you'll only call them after you've explored literally every other available option. This means a smaller call volume, which means they need fewer call center employees, which means more money.
Capitalism is a fuck.
