coming to terms with the fact that preferring the Porsche 928 over the 911 is just the vehicular equivalent of posting “haha XD im so random”

@cat why would someone EVER want a front engined car instead of a car that slings the engine out behind the rear axle?

@InTheLandOfTheRisingSun why would someone EVER argue with the 928’s curves though?

@cat because you can look at an RUF Yellowbird with that massive whaletail. And I actually snapped a photo of a factory endurance car at Legendary Motorcar the other day with an amazing whaletail. (I love the 911 whaletail.)

@InTheLandOfTheRisingSun sorry the 911 in all its incarnations is uggo i don’t make the rules (wait yes I do)

@InTheLandOfTheRisingSun I mean this is true, I think we can all agree American cars have never known taste

@cat except for the Cobra, which is my ugly desire. (Also just a sec I need to upload these pictures I took of the 911)

@cat I forget, is 1965 before or after Shelby shoved the fucking massive V8 in it?

@cat left one is a realCobra :tm: and the one on the right is just a Shelby tuned Mustang. Did Shelby and Ford call those things Cobras?

@InTheLandOfTheRisingSun I admit I pulled the first pic from wikipedia, which might be more generally about the shelby ‘stang

@InTheLandOfTheRisingSun but the AC design is way nicer than any later Ford-Shelby imho

@cat I know that the 90s Shelby Mustangs got branded as Cobras, which is fucking atrocious
