food question

random curiosity: why is it that poultry can't be eaten rare, but it's perfectly safe to do so with red meat?

re: food question

@Felthry It has a lot to do with the amount of pathogens certain animals may contain. Poultry, including chicken, tend to harbor high amounts of salmonella and E. Coli, especially when caged. Even beef can be problematic if it's not from a reputable source.
